What it is, and isn't

Oxisplit helps a group record shared expenses and see who owes whom. It's a record-keeping tool, not a payment service: we never hold or move money, and marking something as settled only records what members tell us. Balances are only as accurate as the data entered, and nothing here is financial or legal advice.

Groups and links

There are no accounts. Anyone with a group's link can view and change that group, including any payment details members have added, so you're responsible for who you share it with. We can't verify who anyone is and may not be able to recover a lost link.

Acceptable use

You keep ownership of what you enter and give us permission to store and display it to run the service. Don't enter unlawful content, add someone else's payment details without their permission, disrupt or probe the service, or work around plan limits. We may remove content or groups that break these terms.

Plans and payments

Groups are free for up to 3 members. A group can be unlocked for more with a one-time payment (currently $3.99) — no subscription. An unlock applies to that one group, with unlimited members, for as long as we run the service. The price, including any taxes, is shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe as merchant of record, under its terms.

The unlock takes effect immediately, so fees are non-refundable except where the law requires — and if you were charged but the group wasn't unlocked, or were charged twice, contact us and we'll fix it.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We may change or discontinue it, and we're not liable for indirect losses, data entry mistakes, disputes between members, or a link falling into the wrong hands. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months (nothing, if you only use the free plan). Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live. Personal data is covered by our Privacy Policy.
